If you are looking for a personal trainer who is commited and experienced, Michael is definitely the one. I've lost 8kg since January while gaining muscle and strength using his program. Early on in training with Michael it was clear his approach would leave no stone unturned in order for me to advance my overall well-being. With Michael’s coaching I have developed a love of resistance training and exercise in general. Michael has been my PT for over five years, and what a difference he has made! I started with a request to help build core strength, which we did, but progressed to addressing various areas for development which have been really helpful. As a more mature client, Michael is exceptional at identifying my flexibility and strength issues and understanding the underlying musculoskeletal conditions, and what to work on. His knowledge of biomechanics is exceptional, and he will develop a deep understanding of what is going on with your body and what you need to work on. He is genuinely interested and really cares. Before I started with Michael I had been going on and off for 8 years to Snap fitness at the Gap and pretty much did the same exercises over and over and wasn’t really progressing with my strength or weight loss. I got to a point where I knew I needed help so I enquired about a PT and was very lucky to get Michael. I have worked with him now for over 12 months and definitely will continue to see him going forward, he is a great teacher and I have learnt a lot about lifting techniques, new exercises and nutrition/eating habits. 15 Months ago, I sent Michael Luy a message via Facebook after seeing a post he put up about his Personal Training services at Snap Fitness.
First thing I have to say is that he is a new kind of Personal Trainer!!! First appointment I had with this guy; he already prepped a work-out made just for me. He sends me a message every week to see how I'm going both mentally and physically and asks if there's any questions I have on the Program! like a True Lad.
Provided an explanation to any question I had weather be about Nutrition. Muscle Building or Weight Gain straight away to the best of his ability as soon as possible online. And would have a new work-out every 3 - 4 weeks with new Exercises that target muscles I've never even used before' Provided me
Meal Plans just for me and what I eat that would help provide the right number of calories for me to gain Muscle. (For people wondering ... no they did not contain frozen coke)
The Guy is so genuine. there were times during our session where he's spotted a much older person struggling with an exercise and helped them otherwise, they could've injured themselves even though he wasn't a client which really took me by surprise and it really shows how much he cares for everyone! Champion I say!
I live near a Snap Fitness down the road (5 Minutes away), but to do the personal training session with Michael I had to go to Snap Fitness where he works at, down at The Gap which is a 35 Minute Drive for me (On a good day :P). His sessions go for 30 Minutes on average and i know exactly what you're thinking 0_0 BUT 100% never regret it!!! It's been legit the highlight of my week just doing the sessions as I've learnt so much from him and how he tells me all the new things he's been researching and finding out in regard to nutrition and other new exercises.
Making this post because Legit big thanks to him as I'm now travelling to go accomplish my life Goal and it literally wouldn't have happened without his training! Thanks so much Brother!! Guy is also full-on Ripped as and a champion!

I have an old knee injury, that was getting worse I was advised by a physiotherapist if I wanted to continue running I was to build the muscles up around the knee. Since meeting Michael his enthusiasm for the mechanics of the human body and his ability to communicate technique, the muscles around my knee are much stronger and the rest of my body is also gaining muscle and definition from Michaels knowledge in weight training. Michael is very welcoming has the ability to encourage and give genuine praise. My son has now started training with Michael, and is learning invaluable techniques in weight lifting and muscle growth and is already starting to enjoy and feel the benefits.
